The world of Hollywood draws many of its ideas from the world of Pie Movies. Sadly, many Pie Movies are altered during production and marketing to be pieless. Please read the pages below to see what could have been.
The King and Pie
The original plot involved Yul Brynner as King Mongkut, a monarch who has hired an Welsh female baker to teach his children how to make pies. While initially overcome with having to teach 82 children how to bake, she soon learns she can get the job done faster if she teaches the older children first, and then encourage them to teach the others. However, the King is soon driven mad by having to remember the names and birthdays of all his children, and he falls in love with an over-size pie slice. The final cut removed the baking lessons and replaced them with English lessons, and had the King fall in love with the Welsh lady.
